The 2025 Austrian Women’s Rugby Sevens National Championship unfolded in thrilling fashion on the 7th of May in Wiener Neustadt, featuring a round-robin format that brought together the top women’s sevens teams in the country.

In a day packed with determination, physicality, and high-level rugby, it was once again the Stade Ladies who emerged victorious - securing their fourth consecutive national title and taking home the gold. Their triumph was hard-earned, facing fierce opposition from seasoned sides like Rugby Union Donau Wien and the ever-determined Womtans. The title chase was anything but easy, with each match testing the depth, resilience, and unity of the champions. The Stade Ladies' success is a testament to a year of dedication and transformation, with many new faces on the team.

Special recognition goes to coaches Fabian Weidinger and Heinrich Kostelic, whose guidance has been instrumental in shaping the team’s growth. Gratitude is also due to all participating teams who brought their best to the pitch, contributing to a day of spirited competition. And, of course, thanks must go to the referees, whose commitment and professionalism made the championship possible.
