The 2022-2023 season recently came to an end, what better way to look back on the last 9 months than with 9 dates that represent the best Stade’s Season?
So without further ado and in chronological order here they are :

15/10/2022 - Stade Rugby Vienna - Donau : 1st win in a long time!
In October, for their 2nd game of the season, our men’s team celebrated their first win in about 3 years against the future Vice Champions of Austria. A challenging game, decided in the last minutes proved our men’s spirit ad would help with the rest of the season preparations.

03/12/2022 - Christmas Party
Like every year Stade organizes in December a club Christmas party! A great opportunity for the whole club to come together and spend some time together!

13-15/01/2023 - Snow Rugby Tarvisio
Every year, both men and women traveled to Tarvisio for the amazing event that is Snow Rugby. A great opportunity for Club building, and spending a great rugby weekend together! Huge thanks again to Snow Rugby for the organisation and see you in 2024!

09/02/2023 - New Board
On the 9th of February, the club got together for an assembly to vote on the future of the club. On this day we thanked Pascal Gille for all the work that he did for Stade over the last years and voted for the election of a new board led by our new president: Raphaël Seidler. Good luck to him for the Challenges that Stade faces in the near future.

24-26/02/2023 - Stade Rugby on Tour against the Cardiff Saracens
The Stade family goes on tour! In February The Cardiff Saracens, a former Stade’s players team welcomed us in Cardiff for a great rugby weekend! The men's team lost to a solid Welsh team and our women brought back their first Win of 2023, but most importantly the club came back with some great (albeit hazy) memories!

08/06/2023 - Womens 7s Final
Ever since last year’s title, this date was much anticipated in the club with everyone cheering on our amazing women for a back-to-back! What a day it was! Lots of cheering, lots of stress, and lots of joy at the end with a historical BAck to back Austrian Champion Title! Objective Threepeat in 2024?

17/06/2023 - Mens Final
Another back-to-back, however for our men it was a vice-champion of Austria back-to-back title. After 2 tournament wins, unfortunately, the final was much harder, a draw in pool stages against Graz announced a tough final at the end of the day. Unfortunately for Stade, Graz came out victor once again and congratulations to them for their title!

17/06/2023 - U14 on Tour in Strasbourg
For their tour our U14 went to Strasbourg to visit 2 former Stade Players Balavoine (U10/U12/U13) and Hannes (U10). On the friday the players were welcomed by host families whilst the coaching teams discovered the clubhouse of the MoM (Mutzig Ovalie Mohseim). On Saturday after a joint warmup/training the U14 played 2 games against a union of MoM, SAR (Strasbourg Alsace Rugby), and CRIG (Club Rugby Illkich-Graffenstaden), the first winning 10-40 then loosing the 2nd 0-15. The day finished watching the top 14 final and eating an amazing Flammkuchen! No doubts our U14 brought back amazing memories from France!

24/06/2023 - U16 tour in Trieste
In June our U16 players had a great experience, traveling to italy to play against Trieste teams.Our boys had the pleasure to be trained by professional coaches of Akkademia and joined their age group in a rugby camp with the teams of Venjulia Rugby Trieate! In all a lot of fun, exchange, and beautiful rugby.

01/07/2023 - WTF and End of the Year Party
In July the final event of the club took place with a great Tournament organized by our touch section followed by a great end-of-the-year party mixing all categories together and a legendary “Court session” for a final sendoff to the summer break!
