Alexis Michel started rugby at the age of 5, in his home-town Riscle, a little village in south west of France where his grandfather, father and two brothers played too. Alexis played in the youth team in Riscle, 5 from the U6 to U18, except one season of the U16 where he played in Aire sur l’adour. Alexis continued to Seniors in Riscle, in the french Federale 2 before going to Pontarlier, still playing in the Federale 2. Then, he moved on to the USA seeking for a new experience and travelling around where he played a season for the Glendale Raptors before coming back to Europe and playing for the RG Heidelberg in the 1.Bundesliga as a Hooker and Prop. He played the last two seasons back in Parthenay(France) in the Federale 3.
