Casale 2017 - Day one

Day one.

The day could not start better, the team managed to leave Vienna ahead of schedule.

Comfortable bus, perfect weather during the long trip, a few pauses for snacks and toilets and some rugby playing.

Eight hours of pleasant trip and then... the beach! Athletes and their coaches enjoyed some water polo kind of Rugby playing in the Mediterranean Sea, the ideal for youngsters to recover from the long transfer and for the coaches to deliver some advice for the tournament.

And while the fun at the beach made the day, when it came to dinner Italy delivered again!

All the team enjoyed the most delicious dinner based on, guess what, Pasta! The Amatriciana sauce was a success, with children asking for and getting more.

Finally for today, eight hours of solid sleep to prepare for the big day.
